          Debosyon (transl.&#;Devotion) is a Filipino film written and directed by Alvin Yapan, starring Mara Lopez and Paulo Avelino.[1][2] The film was an official entry to the 9th Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival,[3][4] where it was in competition in the New Breed category but lost to Hannah Espia's Transit.

        4. Alvin Yapan's films have always been influenced by his being both a literature professor and a writer of short stories.
