            In 1976 kwam Yee Ling Tang met haar moeder naar Nederland, naar haar vader.

            Ze was toen vier. De verhuizing van Hong Kong naar Zoetermeer bracht bij Yee Ling veel verwarring teweeg. Door de cultuurshock weigerde ze op de kleuterschool twee jaar lang te praten.
